Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

As part of an accord between the Louvre museum and Saudi Arabia, this show displayed never-before-exhibited artifacts from the insular and enigmatic desert kingdom. Organized jointly by Smithsonian's Arthur M. Sackler Gallery and Saudi Supreme Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Roads of Arabia's North American tour offered US visitors unprecedented insights into the history of what is now the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: an ancient cultural, intellectual and artistic crossroads. Rigsby Hull created this limited edition volume for exhibition underwriter Aramco as a gift for HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in gratitude for his priceless contributions in bringing Roads of Arabia to the world.
